Just 'Cuz You are Not A Model...

Reflections on My Coffeehouse Photo
Session
What girl doesn't primp with pride at the thought of
being professionally photographed in a steamy setting? For
some reason, the naturally inviting, shadow-filled atmosphere of the coffee shop
is naturally suited for bringing out our photogenic side. Some
of us, myself included, may feel as though we don't photograph all that well... Probably something harkening back to our childhood photography
sessions. Even if you believe yourself to be somewhat unpretentious in the
realm of photographic reproduction, this is a service that will appeal to you. These people
at Let's Meet4 Coffee are amazing!
Now, I'm not one to shy away from any limelight, so to
me, this opportunity to be photographed by a professional was impossible to
resist. I've spent years loving myself on camera in an effort to comfort a low
self-esteem. And yes, I tend to appear somewhat vain as a coping mechanism. But
regardless of ego or lack thereof, I couldn't have been more impressed and awed
by the turnout of my coffeehouse photo session.
... doesn't mean you can't be
photographed like one!
The photo's surprised me, and actually had me believing
I was one hot chick after being pushed and prodded into 'natural' poses.
I met Marco, the photographer, for my
session at Jackson's Java-- Huntersville. At first I felt slightly stiff and
awkward, but his sense of humor soon put me at ease. Surrounded by the
aromatic waves around me, the caffeine rush infused my blood stream and I became
completely swept up into the whole model-shoot.
I truly did feel like a high profile model. With all of
the attention being lavished on me, not only from the photographer, but the
passersby's as well... I actually starting believing I was someone famous and important.
(If they only knew, lol!)
Surprised, I was upset when all it all ended. For a
brief moment, I did feel as though I was gliding down a red carpet or in some lavish,
contemporary L.A. studio. Feeling like a famous
movie-star or actress certainly has its self-esteem boosts! I had a
natural high for several days and
this was all a subsequential result of joining Let's Meet4 Coffee!
When I saw the portrait featured on the website
(Featured Members), I was
so elated that I forwarded the link to everyone in my email address book. Call
it vain, but I wanted to bask in the glow my 'modeling' experience.
I couldn't be happier. It's quite rare to be
photographed by a professional who can turn everyday into glamorous.
The Daily Grind
By Jessica, LM4C Member
Like
most average people my age, I've organized my life into a predictable pattern
that makes each day pass smoothly. Living in a city, I find myself constantly
surrounded by new faces, personalities, and endless opportunities. However, it's
rare for me to actually connect with someone on a personal level that I crave,
during the everyday scene. Laundry, food shopping, and of course, downtime at
coffee shops... My time is spent in a conventional routine
that defines me. I've never thought of any of these daily haunts to be a golden
opportunity. Until now...
A combination of flavor-filled venues that are blended with the active crowd
in mind, Let's Meet4 Coffee is a full-service dating company that caters to
one and all. In this everyday jungle, finding that I can fit one more thing into
my daily routine, makes my life that much easier.
'Grinding your way to happiness' has suddenly become more than just a cheesy
catch phrase. It's a hot and steamy approach to finding a soul mate in an
eclectic venue close to home. In the world of online dating, 'venti-skim-no
fat-no whip,' deadlines due yesterday and loss of the 401K... trust is something
that's difficult to find. You have to ask yourself how realistic that person on
the other side of the computer screen is making themselves out to be. You run
the potential risk of becoming stalked... or worse; when hooking-up with some
yahoo hopeful from such-and-such website.
Society demands efficiency
It's hard to bump into the Mr. or Ms. Right... And the chances of that
morning hangover disappearing quicker than the loser you dragged home last night
is pretty slim. Bar hopping and tequila shooting has it's fun, but is it really
the way to meet the potential parent of your children? The safety and security
of online dating is a must. To know what your getting into, and requiring as
much complete honesty in another person is a standard that's suddenly being met.
For anyone else as exhausted of the games, the artifice and the bull, this
aromatic blend of connecting couldn't have come sooner!
